Documents Needed to Reserve a Student Dormitory in Turkey

Core information to prepare

• Identity record: the identity document requested for the dormitory reservation and check-in process.
• Student-status evidence: a current university registration, acceptance or equivalent record requested by the dormitory.
• Programme and campus: university, faculty and campus name.
• Stay details: expected move-in date, academic term and room preference.
• Contact details: an email address and telephone/WhatsApp number you actively monitor.
• Order and payment records: order reference, receipt and later dormitory payment instructions.

Why student status matters

The live DormBooking FAQ states that student dormitories are for registered students and that student status must be verified before the process proceeds. Do not assume one document works for every property; ask which evidence the selected dormitory accepts for your current application stage.

Privacy and document safety

1. Upload a document only when the page clearly identifies the accommodation-reservation purpose.
2. Do not send passport scans, identity numbers or payment-card information in public comments.
3. Check the domain and privacy notice before uploading.
4. Use the minimum document requested for the stated purpose.
5. Keep a record of what you submitted and when.

Documents are not the same as confirmation

Before move-in
